1. General Provisions
This Privacy Policy explains how UAINFO.CH processes personal data when you visit our website ( www.uainfo.ch ), use our materials, or interact with us.
We place great importance on transparency, protection of personal information, and data security. UAINFO.CH operates in accordance with the Swiss Federal Data Protection Act (DSG, SR 235.1) , and — where applicable — with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Definition of Terms

5. Categories of Data
We may process the following categories of data:
- Basic Data: name, email address, contact information.
- Communication Data: messages, inquiries.

- Content Data: comments, uploaded materials.
- Analytical Data: anonymous visit statistics.
- Financial Data: payment information (if applicable).
We do not process sensitive personal data (Art. 5 lit. c DSG), unless you have provided it voluntarily.
6. Data Retention
Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.
After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.

We implement technical and organizational measures (TOM) in accordance with Art. 8 DSG to protect your data from loss, unauthorized access, or misuse, in particular:
- SSL encryption,
- access restrictions, backups,
- regular security audits.
Only authorised personnel bound by confidentiality obligations may access personal data.
8. Cookies and Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential Cookies — to ensure basic functions (session management, security).
- Optional Cookies (Analytics) — for statistical analysis and optimization, only after your consent.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings center or in your browser settings.
We only use legally compliant analytics tools with anonymous data.
UAINFO.CH does not use tracking tools from providers outside Switzerland or the EU without your prior consent.
9. Hosting and Infrastructure
Our website is hosted exclusively on servers of Infomaniak Network SA, 1227 Geneva, Switzerland. Data processing is carried out entirely within Switzerland.
Additional IT service providers (maintenance, security, email) are involved only if they are registered in Switzerland or the EU and are contractually obliged (Art. 9 DSG) to ensure data confidentiality and security.
10. Data Transfer Abroad
Data transfers outside Switzerland occur only when technically necessary (e.g., cloud or communication services) and only if an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed in accordance with Art. 16 et seq. DSG (EU/EEA states or countries recognized by Switzerland as providing adequate protection).
Currently, no regular data transfer to countries without adequate protection takes place.
11. Newsletters and Communication
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we process your email address solely based on your consent (Double-Opt-In) .
You can withdraw this consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in every email.
For sending emails and technical communication, we use only Swiss or European providers with an adequate level of data protection.
12. Embedded Content and Social Media
Posts on UAINFO.CH may contain embedded elements (videos, social media posts, etc.). When such content is loaded, the respective provider (e.g., YouTube, Meta, Telegram) may receive your IP address and browser data.
The provider itself is responsible for processing this data according to its privacy policy.
UAINFO.CH has official social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, Telegram) to engage with the community. When using these platforms, the privacy policies of the respective operators apply.
13. User Rights (Data Subjects)
According to Art. 25 et seq. DSG, you have the following rights:
- Right of Access: to obtain information about your personal data.
- Right to Rectification: to modify or supplement inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure: to request deletion of unlawfully processed data.
- Right to Restriction or Objection: to object to certain types of processing.
- Right to Data Portability: to receive your data in a commonly used format.

14. Profiling and Automated Decisions
UAINFO.CH does not conduct high-risk profiling (Art. 5 lit. f DSG) and does not make automated decisions that have legal or similar effects on users.
Any personalization occurs only in anonymized or pseudonymized form and only with your consent.
15. Changes to This Policy
UAINFO.CH reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, particularly due to technical or legal updates.
The current version is always available on the website. www.uainfo.ch/privacy-policy.
In case of significant changes, we will inform users in an appropriate manner.
