📍 Seegräben, Jona, Rafz, Kloten

The official theme this year is “Let’s Play.” The four Juckerfarm estates transform into open-air galleries filled with thousands of sculpted pumpkins.

Upcoming highlights include:

• October 4–5 — Riesenkürbissuppe, the giant pumpkin soup at Juckerhof;
• October 4 — Swiss Championship in Pumpkin Weighing at Bächlihof, Jona;
• October 11 — Kürbisschnitzfestival (pumpkin carving);
• October 17–18 and 24–25 — Pumpkin Light Night, with illuminated sculptures;
• November 1 — Kürbis-Schlachtete, the symbolic end of the season.

Beyond the impressive installations, visitors can enjoy pumpkin pie, soup, and risotto prepared with locally grown produce.

Hof Bürlimoos, Rothenburg (LU)

This Central Swiss exhibition is among the most atmospheric in the country. Entry is free, and visitors can explore hundreds of pumpkin varieties and an Erlebnis-Labyrinth for children.

The opening weekend featured live music, horse rides, and a farmers’ market, while throughout October, the farm welcomes guests daily from 10:00 to 18:00.

Kürbishof Rohner, Gossau (SG)

📅 September 27 – November 1, 2025

In the canton of St. Gallen, the Rohner family hosts one of the most traditional events of the season. The festival combines a pumpkin exhibition with a food market and workshops. Guests can taste regional pumpkin soups, seed oil, and homemade delicacies.

Bauernhof Stöckweid, Uttenberg / Knonau (ZH)

📅 September 27–28 – October 31, 2025

After its festive opening, the exhibition continues through October. Visitors will find around 150 pumpkin varieties, local produce, handmade crafts, and live folk music — a rural autumn in its purest form.

Kürbisfest Schwadernau (BE)

📅 October 11, 2025

This one-day family celebration at Maurer’s Hof near Biel offers pumpkin desserts, local foods, live music, and a carving competition — a cozy community event in the Bernese Seeland region.

Hofgut Obere Wanne, Liestal (BL)

📅 August 27 – October 31, 2025

Known as Switzerland’s Kürbisland, this organic farm displays over 100 pumpkin varieties. Children can feed animals or pick their own pumpkin at the Selfpick field. The exhibition remains open daily until the end of October.

Erlebnishof Lüterkofen (SO)

📅 September 1 – November 1, 2025

Around 150 varieties are on display at this scenic Solothurn farm. Guests can walk through a themed labyrinth, a barefoot trail, and admire the large pumpkin pyramid — all surrounded by the calm charm of rural life.
